Lead Full Stack Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Québec City, Quebec, Canada; remote. Hybrid work is available for team members in Ho Chi Minh City, while remote work is available outside Ho Chi Minh City.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of insurance enterprise software solutions.
• Provide technical direction across front-end and back-end architecture, technology selection, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into cohesive user experiences.
• Optimize platform performance for large datasets and high user traffic while designing for scalability and flexibility.
• Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, investigate bugs, and maintain platform reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and guide the team in adopting current technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, including experience leading complex SaaS applications.
• At least 2 years in a lead or manager role with responsibility for guiding development teams.
• Strong back-end experience with .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Docker.
• Front-end proficiency with JavaScript, Vue.js, and/or React.js, plus experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with microservices or clean architecture, Test-Driven Development, unit, integration, and functional testing, and Domain-Driven Design.
• Knowledge of web security, regulatory compliance, performance optimization, cloud infrastructure, agile development, and cross-functional collaboration.
