Consultant, Full Stack Developer (ATM Payments)

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at 81 Bay, 18th Floor

What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain applications for ATM Payments platforms.
• Design, develop, and integrate cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
• Deliver complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems.
• Gather requirements and prepare technical design specifications with business analysts, end users, and technical teams.
• Plan technical solutions that improve the client experience.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in technical design, troubleshooting, production control, and problem solving.
• Application development experience with Java, C#, C, or C++.
• Experience with Linux, SQL scripting, DevOps, test automation, CI/CD, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of API development, application programming, object-oriented programming, and Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a technical discipline.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience with OLTP, HP NonStop Tandem, ISO 8583, Oracle, Azure Cloud, Go, Solace, MQ, Kubernetes, APIs, and microservices.
• ATM and payments technology experience.
• Experience with mentoring staff and technology project management.
