Software Engineer, AI/ML

Location: Remote, Canada

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Shape and document the AI strategy in alignment with the product roadmap and company objectives.
• Design solution scope, milestones, architectures, and technical approaches for complex projects.
• Implement AI and machine learning solutions, write code, configure external components, and prototype new technologies.
• Develop semantic matching, RAG, document parsing, agentic, and other AI workflow components.
• Write unit and integration tests, technical documentation, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate through code reviews, pair programming, client meetings, mentoring, and technical architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture, full-stack development, or AI engineering.
• At least two years of experience implementing advanced AI solutions, including semantic matching, RAG systems, and document parsing for structured content.
• Experience designing and deploying agentic systems with LangGraph, CrewAI, or the OpenAI Agents SDK.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol, model ensembles, fine-tuning, knowledge graphs such as Neo4j, and Apache workflows including Databricks, Spark, or Iceberg.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop integrations, AI model evaluation, results testing, and iterative refinement.
• Strong coding, testing, documentation, collaboration, mentoring, and technical architecture skills.
