Field Service Engineer (Diagnostics)

Location: Philadelphia, PA, United States; home-based office with 75%+ travel and regular overnight stays

Annual base salary: $64,000–$100,100, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, testing, and qualification of instruments at customer sites.
• Schedule and manage preventive maintenance and unscheduled service visits across the assigned territory.
• Provide 24/7 customer coverage and respond within 24 hours of notification.
• Manage repair-parts inventory and coordinate with supply lines and procurement systems.
• Document service resolutions in the CRM system and escalate issues when needed.
• Collaborate with Product Application Engineers on quality issues and maintain regulatory and quality-control compliance.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of related field-service experience with direct customer interaction, preferably in a laboratory setting.
• Working knowledge of chemistry principles, chemical handling, electronic testing equipment, inventory, and procurement systems.
• Ability to meet customer credentialing requirements and pass a comprehensive background check.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred; an AA/AS degree or practical military experience may be considered.
• Must live in close proximity to an airport and be available for 75%+ travel, on-call duties, and overnight stays three to four nights per week.
