Field Service Technician I (Medical Equipment)

Location: Wallingford, Connecticut, United States. Second shift, Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with on-call coverage up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

Estimated base salary: $48,000–$66,000 per year.

What you will do

• Move, inspect, load, unload, clean, disinfect, and prepare rental and customer-owned medical products for patient use.
• Troubleshoot equipment, perform operational checks, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Provide delivery, removal, service, and on-call support at service centers, healthcare facilities, customer accounts, and private homes.
• Demonstrate hirify.global product use to hospital staff, caregivers, and other participants.
• Record and retrieve information using smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
• Operate company vehicles from cargo vans to 26,000-pound trucks while following safety, PPE, ergonomic, and 5S procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain a DOT physical card.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds and work safely with required PPE, including latex and non-latex gloves.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
