Manager, Interconnection (Renewable Energy)

Location: Hybrid role requiring work from the Dana Point, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; Phoenix, AZ; or Lake Oswego, OR office at least 3 days per week. Up to 25% travel required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

What you will do

• Manage generation and load interconnection processes for utility-scale solar, energy storage, natural gas, and data center projects.
• Coordinate feasibility analyses, application submissions, technical packages, interconnection studies, study agreements, deposits, and study fees.
• Track queue milestones, study results, Generator and Load Interconnection Agreement negotiations, and milestone execution.
• Coordinate with utilities, ISOs, transmission providers, regulators, consultants, and project stakeholders to obtain interconnection approvals.
• Support site selection, project acquisition, financing, facility construction, and co-location of generation projects with data center campuses.
• Maintain interconnection tracking tools and coordinate consultant and service provider activities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
• Extensive knowledge of FERC large generator interconnection processes and tariff requirements.
• Experience with utility-scale interconnection development, GIA negotiations and execution, interconnection studies, and power flow studies.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with experience using project management software.
• US work authorization without employer sponsorship and availability to work from one of the specified offices at least 3 days per week.
