Lead Business Systems Analyst (Health Insurance)

What you will do

• Lead collaboration with customers, software engineers, architects, capability managers, vendors, and project teams to define business capabilities and solutions.
• Create business visions, requirements, testing plans, scenarios, outcomes, user-task analyses, wireframes, usability tests, and interface designs.
• Lead or contribute to agile software development teams across roles such as Scrum Master, Business Technical Analyst, capability manager, user interface designer, and tester.
• Provide subject-matter expertise for complex project and production issues, including strategic programs affecting existing systems.
• Evaluate alternative and vendor solutions through cost-benefit analysis, support approvals, and drive value and return on investment.
• Lead requirements testing, defect management, sprint reviews, status reporting, and clear project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in IS/IT.
• 3–5 years of project management experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in the health insurance and healthcare industries.
• 5–7 years of process improvement experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, report-writing, SQL, customer service, leadership, agile, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Information Systems.
• Certifications or knowledge in ITIL, TOGAF, Six Sigma, or PMP.
