Lead Business Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annual base salary for NYC-based applicants, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Serve as the analytics subject matter expert for product data covering eligibility, enrollment, communications, utilization, referrals, surveys, claims, and outcomes.
• Own and evolve end-to-end data models connecting interactions across the member journey and incorporating new data sources.
• Define KPIs and develop funnel, cohort, trend, and marketing attribution analyses across products and engagement channels.
• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable analyses, dashboards, reporting, and data products using SQL, Excel, and modern analytics tools.
• Monitor product performance, identify trends and opportunities, and evaluate initiatives across marketing, digital experiences, and operational workflows.
• Lead data-driven business reviews and partner with Product, Marketing, and Member Services to guide strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, economics, finance, statistics, data analytics, or a related analytical field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in healthcare, insurance, consulting, analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience querying, transforming, and analyzing complex datasets of 30M+ rows.
• Experience with modern analytics environments or IDEs such as Visual Studio Code, Cursor, PyCharm, or similar tools.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or comparable business intelligence and data visualization platforms.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

• Experience using AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, development, or reporting workflows.
