Salary: $48,400–$72,600 nationally; $55,200–$82,800 in higher-cost markets including Western Washington and Alaska.

What you will do
- Create, edit, proofread, revise, and maintain corporate and departmental policies, technical procedures, and related documentation.
- Recommend solutions for procedure-related process and workflow issues and advise on taxonomy, style guides, and content standards.
- Assess procedure and project requests, identify impacted areas, and establish communication links.
- Analyze state and federal mandates, contract changes, and corporate communications for their impact on procedures.
- Facilitate cross-functional work groups, support project activities, and report procedure and project status.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and system testing to validate procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of Premera experience, including at least one year developing organizational procedures, or three years of experience developing organizational procedures.
- Experience creating clear, consistent documentation for internal end users.
- Ability to analyze complex information, support project work, and communicate clearly.
- Ability to perform sedentary work and keyboard regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate/coursework in business writing, technical writing, or journalism.
- Operations, healthcare, technical writing, Web/Internet/HTML, business redesign, or continuous improvement experience.
