NOC Watch Analyst – Journeyman

What you will do

• Provide Tier 2 network operations support across enterprise locations.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets for routers, switches, and cryptographic devices.
• Perform incident analysis, root cause analysis, approved network changes, and technical resolution for critical outages.
• Support network upgrades, installations, technical refreshes, site surveys, and new or enhanced implementations.
• Develop network operations SOPs and implement DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides.
• Resolve complex network problems independently, including at remote locations.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, or the ability to obtain a polygraph before starting.
• IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+, and CCNA certification.
• 10+ years of relevant network operations or administration experience; a relevant bachelor's degree may substitute for 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper devices and strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, and 802.1x.
• In-depth knowledge of KG-175 Series TACLANE configuration, fault isolation, and firmware upgrades.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE and the ability to perform network troubleshooting, configuration, ticket resolution, and approved changes with limited supervision.

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale operations across geographically dispersed or remote locations.
• Experience with network engineering, maintenance, upgrades, installations, technical refreshes, and new implementations.
• Experience conducting site surveys and engineering design data calls.
• Experience developing network SOPs and technical resolution reports for critical outages.
• Experience implementing DoD STIGs and troubleshooting routers, switches, and cryptographic devices.
