What you will do
- Define and maintain infrastructure operational policies, standards, and procedures for secure domain operations.
- Provide operational support for enterprise services, monitoring performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Design, plan, and implement infrastructure changes following established change management processes.
- Lead technical implementation plans and evaluate new hardware and software products.
- Maintain regulatory compliance under NERC/CIP guidelines and ensure security controls for critical SCADA systems.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support and technical mentoring for team members.
Requirements
- Must be based in Rochester, New York, and able to work on-site.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco Nexus (9k, 5k, 3k) and Catalyst switches, including IOS and virtualized switching.
- Strong proficiency in networking protocols: vxLAN, vPC, Spanning Tree, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Experience with Network Access Control (NAC), firewall technology, and authentication systems (RADIUS, TACACS+, SSO, LDAP).
- Understanding of UNIX, Linux, Microsoft OS, VMware, and Citrix environments.
