Autonomy Systems Integration Lead (Robotics)

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Salary: $128,470–$208,770 per year.

What you will do

• Lead a team of developers delivering software for Cat Robotics.
• Gather requirements and scope software deliverables.
• Coordinate partner teams developing components of complex autonomy projects.
• Design system architectures connecting autonomy middleware with multiple applications.
• Manage I/O requirements for machine-control hardware and autonomy-related devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related field.
• Experience leading multiple complex projects and meeting timelines and deliverables.
• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Systems engineering experience in the automotive or heavy machinery industry.
• Strong mathematics and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, communicate requirements, and design software products and architectures.
