RF Hardware Engineer (RF)

Annual base salary: USD 121,900–195,000

What you will do

• Develop RF characterization setups and automation tools for switches, resonators, filters, and front-end modules.
• Design and synthesize RF filters using acoustic FBAR technologies.
• Build models for high-Q resonators and perform physical die layout and module PCB design.
• Perform 3D EM co-simulation, yield analysis, and tolerance analysis for robust high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop characterization and qualification plans, review test results, generate reports, and provide technical feedback to design, quality, and processing teams.
• Work with design, integration, test, and qualification engineers to resolve complex RF engineering issues.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience in RF front-end module building blocks, filters, switches, and semiconductor devices; a PhD is preferred.
• Expertise in RF/EM engineering, semiconductor physics, RF modeling tools, and finite element modeling across piezoelectric, acoustics, thermo-mechanical, and RF domains.
• Experience with ADS, HFSS, Cadence, Allegro SiP, filter and switch design, PCB and die layout, and RF modeling.
• Strong understanding of linear and nonlinear measurements, harmonics, intermodulation, high-power RF, and noise characterization.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, probe stations, load-pull systems, and RF components such as couplers, filters, duplexers, amplifiers, and isolators.
• Required programming skills in Python and MATLAB, along with troubleshooting and test instrumentation automation experience.
