Customer Service Representative (Industrial Gases and Equipment)

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; onsite office and manufacturing-site duties

Salary: $25–$27 per hour plus bonus

What you will do

• Support customers throughout the order fulfillment process by telephone, email, fax, and in person.
• Take customer orders, provide sales support, and maintain customer accounts and contact pricing.
• Resolve questions about billing, cylinder balances, invoices, leases, order status, and delivery timing.
• Research product pricing and availability with vendors and address delivery-cycle challenges.
• Coordinate with sales, branches, vendors, and internal departments to support timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Handle data entry, account setup, order research, and related special projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service or inside sales experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP.
• Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work extended periods at a computer and telephone station and work overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Practical mathematics skills involving units of measure, fractions, rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Additional post-high-school education or specialized training.
