Location: Middletown, Rhode Island, United States; must be local to the work location, with occasional telework available

Projected compensation: $55,747.35–$96,933.83 per year

What you will do

• Use MBSE tools such as Cameo to define system architectures and behaviors for Navy systems.
• Develop and manage system requirements, performance metrics, verification activities, and compliance assessments.
• Build and improve SysML-based system models using commercial modeling tools, scripting languages, and macros.
• Perform feature impact analyses and feature decomposition to define model updates.
• Create and maintain model-generated documentation and support critical technical reviews.
• Improve internal systems engineering processes and collaborate with cross-functional development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related engineering, computer science, scientific, or STEM discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant systems engineering or related experience.
• Basic understanding of systems engineering and digital engineering concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with MBSE tools including Cameo, Rhapsody, MagicDraw, NoMagic, TeamWork Cloud, or Cameo Collaborator.
• Experience with SysML, UML, VTL report templates, or object-oriented languages such as Groovy, Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, CMMI, Agile, or Scrum environments.
• DoD experience, particularly with submarine-related systems for the U.S. Navy.
