Principal Systems Engineer

Location: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $145,000–$155,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Provide systems engineering support across the acquisition lifecycle, from requirements analysis and architecture development through integration, sustainment, and disposal.
• Translate operational and functional requirements into technical requirements for the Data Mission Integration Team.
• Develop current-state and future-state system-of-systems and enterprise architectures supporting sensor-to-shooter connectivity.
• Drive interoperability and integration across program executive offices, weapon systems, mission partners, and joint and coalition stakeholders.
• Assess capability risks and gaps, develop mitigation plans, and support acquisition execution and transition strategies.
• Develop test and evaluation strategies, ICAM documentation, technical briefings, engineering reports, and acquisition artifacts.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must hold and maintain an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
• 20+ years of experience, including 12+ years of Department of Defense-related experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with DoD and USAF systems engineering, architecture development, requirements analysis, and acquisition processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
