Head of Digital Transformation (AI)

Location: Hybrid work with locations in Erlangen and Berlin, Germany, as well as Portugal, Romania, and Egypt

What you will do

• Own and advance the digital transformation roadmap for the global service value chain.
• Redesign, standardize, simplify, and scale business and operational processes.
• Align senior stakeholders across business functions, regions, IT, process ownership, and external partners.
• Establish transformation governance covering priorities, dependencies, risks, milestones, benefits, adoption, and performance indicators.
• Strengthen data foundations through reusable data products, common standards, platform integration, data quality, and automation readiness.
• Develop a human-machine transformation culture using digital tools, automation, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in digital, process, or business transformation, operational excellence, or enterprise-wide change in complex international environments.
• Strong leadership, strategic direction, senior stakeholder influence, decision-making, and cross-functional alignment skills.
• Experience translating strategy into roadmaps, transformation portfolios, business cases, KPIs, baselines, and measurable value contributions.
• Strong understanding of service, operations, or project-execution value chains, including customer service, supply chain, asset management, finance, or field service.
• Experience with digital platforms, data analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence-enabled transformation.
• Strong change-management mindset and ability to drive sustainable adoption, business ownership, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP S/4, Teamcenter, Snowflake, Alteryx, Power BI, UiPath, Fabasoft aDMS, or comparable enterprise solutions.
