Director of Enterprise Technology Strategy & Portfolio

Location: Hybrid, with regular travel across multiple Bauer markets. Place of residence must be the UK, Germany, or Poland.

What you will do

• Shape and coordinate the Group-wide Enterprise Technology strategy with the SVP Technology and Technology Leadership Team.
• Own portfolio planning, governance and prioritisation across Group functions, lines of business and markets.
• Design and standardise operational processes, tooling and workflows across distributed technology teams.
• Track strategic execution, risks, dependencies, delivery plans, budgets and key performance indicators.
• Prepare executive materials, coordinate cross-functional initiatives and act as the integration point with Finance, HR, Legal and Procurement.
• Lead communication, continuous improvement and constructive conflict resolution across the wider Group.

Requirements

• Significant senior technology leadership experience in strategy, portfolio management, business operations or transformation within a complex matrix organisation.
• Proven ability to lead strategic planning, portfolio prioritisation and delivery of measurable outcomes.
• Experience embedding operational processes, best practices and continuous improvement across large, distributed technology teams.
• Strong budget consolidation, financial planning, reporting and performance management skills.
• Exceptional executive-level communication, influencing, organisation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Must be resident in the UK, Germany, or Poland and able to travel regularly across fourteen countries.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting digital, data or AI strategy or transformation.
• Media industry experience.
