Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Cheswick, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $76,200–$127,000 per year

Manufacturing organization supporting production operations involving machining, assembly, and welding.

What you will do

• Manage represented employees and maintain product flow across machining operations, with possible oversight of assembly or welding.
• Develop production schedules, manpower requirements, and work assignments based on product demand, equipment efficiency, materials supply, and available resources.
• Control direct and indirect labor, capital expenditures, production budgets, quality, and cost objectives.
• Maintain compliance with safety, housekeeping, work instructions, and business procedures.
• Lead initiatives focused on safety, rework reduction, throughput improvement, lean manufacturing, 6S, and quality improvement.
• Maintain labor, attendance, skills, training, performance, and budget records while interpreting and administering labor agreements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong machining background, team leadership, team-building, and production prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use Oracle.
• Must be a United States citizen due to Department of Defense requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Nice to have

• Engineering background.
• Four-year machinist journeyman program completion.
• Knowledge of Mastercam and CNC machining.
