Senior Full Stack Developer (Global Security)

A large Canadian banking and financial services organization developing global cybersecurity solutions.

What you will do

• Build and maintain full-stack web applications delivering security insights and LLM-powered solutions.
• Design and implement production-grade backend systems in Python for scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant applications.
• Collaborate on frontend development using Vue.js and modern web technologies.
• Integrate applications with cloud platforms and develop maintenance procedures for performance and reliability.
• Gather stakeholder requirements, manage risks, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, establish cross-functional relationships, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience developing and shipping production software.
• Strong Python backend development skills, including Django and FastAPI.
• Experience building highly scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant applications.
• Ability to work independently, gather requirements, and drive solutions across multiple concurrent projects.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality code while managing deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript, Tailwind, NuxtJS, Vue.js, or React.
• Cloud engineering and deployment experience with OpenShift or Azure.
• Experience with Azure Entra ID or similar IAM integrations.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
• Professional experience with LLMs, RAG, vector search, and agent orchestration frameworks.
