Maintenance Technician (Logistics)

Location: Berlin, Germany; onsite work in logistics and fulfillment centers

What you will do

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, electrical issues, and structural problems.
• Maintain conveyor systems, forklifts, packaging machinery, and other warehouse equipment.
• Handle minor plumbing and carpentry work and respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Record maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Support equipment installation and commissioning while recommending improvements to maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in HVAC, industrial maintenance, electrical work, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a similar role.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong understanding of safety practices in warehouse or industrial environments.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in hot, cold, or dusty environments; flexibility to work nights and weekends when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Relevant vocational training or technical certification.
