Development Engineer Compressor Seals

What you will do

• Develop and continuously improve sealing solutions for compressors and other turbomachinery.
• Manage development projects independently from concept through successful market launch.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate development, qualification, and validation testing.
• Design and advance modular product platforms and intelligent modular systems for seal product families.
• Collaborate with international customers, suppliers, manufacturing sites, and service locations.
• Contribute to sustainable, emission-free sealing technologies for hydrogen, CO₂, energy transition, and decarbonization applications.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Fluid Mechanics, or a comparable engineering discipline.
• Experience developing and designing technical products, ideally in turbomachinery, sealing technology, or a related industry.
• Proficiency with modern 3D CAD systems.
• Analytical, structured, solution-oriented working style with a high level of initiative and responsibility.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work in interdisciplinary and international teams.
• Very good written and spoken German and English; willingness to undertake occasional international business travel.
