Maintenance Planner Germany (m/w/d)

Location: Hattingen, Germany. Full-time, site-based role with regular travel between sites.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Prepare and support plant shutdowns and turnaround execution.
• Develop maintenance schedules, work packages, resource plans, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate contractors and service providers, including qualification and evaluation.
• Support refurbishment projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance teams, external stakeholders, and the Maintenance Manager to improve safety, reliability, and plant uptime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Engineering, Turnaround Planning, Reliability Engineering, or a similar industrial role.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs, shutdowns, and turnaround execution.
• Experience with SAP PM, CMMS, or comparable maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, piping systems, pressure equipment, and maintenance execution practices, combined with strong planning and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent German and English required; regular travel between sites is expected.
