Production Technician I - Subassembly (Medtech)

Location: Onsite in Marion, North Carolina, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $48,048 annually.

What you will do

• Operate, supervise, and adjust subassembly machines through electrical control panels and manual processing-station adjustments.
• Load production supplies and perform minor preventative maintenance, including alignment, part replacement, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Investigate machine-performance inefficiencies, troubleshoot issues, and escalate safety, quality, or mechanical discrepancies.
• Support scheduled quality checks, product disposition, finished-product inspection, packaging, and inter-plant shipping orders.
• Perform machine changeovers, scheduled cleaning, and production documentation in manufacturing logs and the POMS system.
• Apply SOPs, cGMP, Good Documentation Practices, and 6S principles to maintain a safe and clean work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and minimum age of 18.
• Production technician or manufacturing experience involving preventative maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills, with the ability to understand safety, quality, and work instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and use calculators, measurement tools, basic hand tools, and computers.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
