Sr. Principal Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: United States (Remote-First)

Annual gross base salary: $176,000–$221,000, plus variable compensation.

What you will do

• Manage multiple concurrent technical programs across different sizes and levels of complexity.
• Ensure technical capabilities are delivered and intended business outcomes are realized through the Program Playbook.
• Establish execution rhythms, decision-making rituals, ownership, milestone tracking, and risk analysis.
• Use AI and agentic tools to automate RAID logs and create concise executive status summaries.
• Adapt program management practices to experimentation and unpredictability in AI-driven development.
• Maintain Jira, Confluence, or a similar centralized work surface for initiatives, dependencies, and critical paths.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SaaS product development, program management, and release management.
• Direct experience with AI-driven development lifecycles and AI/agentic workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field.
• Ability to mobilize teams, set direction in ambiguous environments, resolve conflicts, and communicate difficult decisions effectively.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite.

• Deep knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, and agentic frameworks.
