Senior Classified Systems Administrator

Location: On-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $95,000–$245,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Install, configure, test, maintain, and manage networks, firewalls, servers, and related hardware and software.
• Administer user accounts, access controls, password resets, system patches, deployments, licenses, and infrastructure lifecycles.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, network diagrams, configuration documentation, project plans, requirements, architecture diagrams, and test plans.
• Conduct technical inspections, identify security weaknesses, support compliance, and coordinate the system accreditation process with Information Assurance.
• Provide Tier II technical support, resolve moderately complex customer issues, and escalate issues when required.
• Lead IT projects implementing new technology solutions and mentor team members.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in systems administration or network administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam or equivalent, Nessus, or Splunk.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, and Windows Server 2019.
• Knowledge of encryption, network security, firewall configuration, intrusion detection, and applicable security frameworks such as NIST, RMF, or ICD 503.
• Current in-scope Top Secret security clearance required; selected applicants must obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Security+ and/or CISSP certification.
