IT Systems Administrator (Dec.26/May 27 Grads)

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States. Remote work arrangements and virtual collaboration are expected, with regular availability outside standard business hours for critical issues and planned maintenance.

What you will do

• Provision, configure, maintain, and support enterprise infrastructure systems.
• Administer patch management for servers and endpoint devices, and configure daily backups.
• Perform Windows and Linux administration, including server configuration, role and feature management, and software installation.
• Monitor performance and capacity, and administer Active Directory and email environments.
• Support networking and storage technologies, including SAN, clustering, load balancing, VPNs, network intrusion detection, firewalls, Citrix, and virtualization platforms.
• Support enterprise database systems including MS-SQL, Intersystems Caché, and Oracle.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of IT standards, concepts, best practices, and procedures.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and respond to client priorities in time-sensitive situations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Relocation assistance is not provided.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• ITIL framework experience.
• Experience with enterprise virtualization technologies in production environments.
• Experience managing enterprise Windows Server platforms.
