Proposal Manager (AI)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, supporting Eastern Time business hours from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET. Occasional travel for training or project meetings may be required, estimated at less than 5% annually.

Salary: $97,900–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the full proposal lifecycle for Federal RFPs and RFQs, including schedules, milestones, amendments, compliance matrices, outlines, storyboards, and kickoff materials.
• Support pre-RFP business development by monitoring solicitations, preparing white papers, coordinating strategy sessions, and responding to RFIs and Sources Sought requests.
• Partner with capture managers, business development leads, solution architects, proposal writers, and program managers to develop technical and management solutions.
• Manage proposal contributors and external partners through stand-ups, reviews, progress tracking, corrective actions, and deadline escalation.
• Lead Pink, Red, and Gold Team reviews, debriefs, and retrospectives to improve proposal quality and capture lessons learned.
• Use approved AI tools, proofread and develop non-technical content, and support proposal orals through logistics coordination and participant preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, IT, or a related field.
• At least five years of Federal pre-RFP and proposal development or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Federal Government contracting process and experience with large, complex Federal proposals.
• Experience leading prime Federal IT systems development proposals valued at more than $50M.
• Strong proposal writing, editing, organization, communication, and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Illustrator.

• Experience in IT project roles or program management.
