Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York City, United States; office attendance required at least three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with additional days occasionally for client meetings.

Salary: $180,000 annual base salary, plus equity, benefits, and additional perks.

What you will do

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for new products and experiences, often before the problem or solution is fully defined.
• Define product strategy and roadmaps, taking products from concept through experimentation, launch, and iteration.
• Partner with engineering, design, data, analytics, support, partner management, and go-to-market teams to build and improve products.
• Develop user insights through feedback, behavioral data, research, and direct conversations.
• Balance user needs with partner priorities, business requirements, and regulatory, finance, and operational constraints.
• Advocate for product strategy, make informed decisions with incomplete information, and take ownership from problem identification through launch.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience, ideally building new products or features from the ground up.
• Experience balancing multiple stakeholder needs while maintaining a clear product and user-focused point of view.
• Strong collaboration skills with design, engineering, data, analytics, regulatory, finance, and operations teams.
• Strong data fluency and experience using quantitative and qualitative insights for product decisions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and accountability skills.
• Ability to work from the New York City office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer fintech, neobanking, financial services, or another complex and regulated industry.
• Understanding of or curiosity about lending systems, underwriting, payments, risk management, or financial infrastructure.
• Startup experience and comfort building products in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
