TL;DR
Resource Manager (AI/VFX): Coordinating freelance talent, project resourcing, onboarding, and studio infrastructure for an AI-first hybrid creative studio with an accent on VFX, compositing, resource planning, and cloud-based production systems. Focus on managing capacity and staffing gaps, resolving hardware and software blockers, coordinating AWS rendering resources, and improving technical workflows across on-premises and cloud environments.
Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week at the Osterley office; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Manage bookings, availability, capacity, utilization, and absences for freelance artists across current and upcoming projects.
- Build and maintain an external talent pool covering VFX, compositing, motion, and AI-assisted creative workflows.
- Coordinate freelancer onboarding and act as a primary contact for production, resource management, executive production, and freelance teams.
- Coordinate access to hardware, software licences, storage, cloud infrastructure, and studio systems.
- Track and resolve operational and technical blockers, including project file and asset movement across on-premises and cloud systems.
- Coordinate AWS rendering capacity, access, scaling requirements, cost estimates, and related staffing needs.
Requirements
- Experience in talent management, resource coordination, or production within VFX, animation, post-production, or a creative studio.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Familiarity with production tracking tools such as ShotGrid and resource management systems.
- An established network of freelance artists across VFX, compositing, motion, or emerging AI-driven creative disciplines.
- Interest in creative studio infrastructure, systems, deployment, technology implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

- Understanding of VFX/CG pipelines and emerging AI-driven workflows.
- Experience with cloud-based systems and distributed teams.
