Senior Production Manager (VFX)

What you will do

• Manage VFX project workloads and production schedules from bidding and preparation through final delivery.
• Define project scope, milestones, resource requirements, and show-team assignments with supervisors, producers, and global production leadership.
• Coordinate daily priorities, shot flow, reviews, meetings, and communication across 2D and 3D production disciplines.
• Track artist utilization, project budgets, staffing projections, risks, and delivery status.
• Maintain accurate ShotGrid records and produce production reports for producers and executive management.
• Coordinate resource sharing and multi-site pipeline workflows across global studio locations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Production Manager or Senior Production Coordinator in a high-end VFX studio.
• Experience managing complex VFX deliverables for feature films or episodic television.
• Expert proficiency with ShotGrid, formerly known as Shotgun.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end VFX production pipelines, department workflows, and industry terminology.
• Strong organizational, communication, prioritization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, especially Sheets or Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams or cross-studio global production pipelines.
• Familiarity with 2D and 3D VFX or animation workflows.
• Calm, methodical, and collaborative approach to working under deadline pressure.
