Senior Manager Supply Chain

Location: Peterlee, County Durham, United Kingdom; onsite five days a week. Approximately 10% travel required. Domestic relocation support is available.

Salary: £99,310–£124,138 per year

hirify.global manufactures construction, mining, quarrying and aggregates equipment, with the Peterlee facility producing Cat articulated trucks using advanced manufacturing, robotics and automation.

What you will do

• Shape and deliver the Peterlee facility's supply chain strategy as a member of the Business Unit Leadership Team.
• Lead strategic sourcing, category management, S&OP and end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Improve planning, logistics, inventory management, supply continuity and customer delivery performance.
• Develop supplier resilience and performance through strategic partnerships and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop an organisation of approximately 250 employees through coaching, talent development and succession planning.
• Manage operational metrics and use data-driven insights to deliver transformation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Extensive leadership experience in supply chain, operations or a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience in inventory management, purchasing, logistics, distribution or supplier management.
• Expertise in forecasting, demand planning, inventory optimisation, logistics, distribution and Manufacturing Requirements Planning.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical and critical-thinking, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience delivering change, transformation, operational improvements and data-driven decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification.
• Experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives.
• Experience establishing policies, governance frameworks and performance standards.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience developing innovative solutions to complex operational challenges.
