What you will do
- Maintain material master data in the ERP system, including supplier assignments, lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, and replenishment parameters.
- Plan material availability against production schedules and manage inventory levels to maintain continuity of supply.
- Build supplier relationships, monitor delivery and performance, and support supplier development activities.
- Track inbound shipments, including applicable customs and compliance activities.
- Coordinate supplier changes, material transitions, new supplier implementations, engineering changes, and bill of material updates.
- Analyze planning and supply chain data to identify shortages, risks, and opportunities for process and operational improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in supply chain, material planning, production planning, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, or a related environment.
- Strong analytical, logical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn new systems, technologies, and processes quickly and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required.
- Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom; visa sponsorship and work authorization will not be provided.
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Good Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with engineering changes, master data maintenance, or inventory optimization.
