OCI Cloud Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise OCI landing zones, compartments, tenancy structures, and networking topologies.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager, including version control, peer review, and automated validation.
• Operate OCI compute, OKE, storage, and database services for Oracle and non-Oracle workloads.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and implement observability with OCI Monitoring, Logging, APM, and third-party tools.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions while driving cost optimization and security improvements.
• Advise application teams on OCI-native architecture, develop automation, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of cloud engineering experience with strong hands-on OCI experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Production-level Terraform experience and solid knowledge of OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Python, and Bash.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, compliance, observability, incident response, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; eligible applicants include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.
