Machine Setup, Repair and Tooling (Manufacturing)

Location: Columbia, Pennsylvania, United States — onsite at the plant

Salary: $24.32–$26.82 per hour

What you will do

• Set up machinery to produce parts meeting product specifications and output requirements.
• Monitor machine output and adjust equipment to maintain quality and production targets.
• Change tools and monitor tool usage, damage, and wear.
• Train production operators, process auditors, and other setup personnel.
• Follow applicable work instructions and procedures.
• Obtain a tow motor license and complete LOTO and confined-space training.

Requirements

• Accurately use calipers, dial indicators, fitting alignment equipment, L-1 thread gages, and 6-step gages.
• Read and understand product and equipment drawings.
• Apply basic mathematics to measured dimensions and product or process specifications.
• Understand technical terminology related to machinery and machining processes.
• Read and follow written product specifications, work instructions, and procedures.
