Fullstack Engineer - AI Engineering - New Capabilities (AI) (.NET/C#/Angular): Building and extending an enterprise scheduling and optimization platform that models real-world resource planning problems and ships customer solutions with an accent on production AI applications, constraint programming, and cloud-native engineering. Focus on configuring and debugging optimization engines against live datasets, solving complex scheduling challenges under tight deadlines, and translating customer learnings into product improvements.
Location: London, England, United Kingdom; hybrid work opportunities are available.

What you will do
- Partner with customers to translate scheduling and planning challenges into optimization models.
- Configure, extend, and debug the core scheduling engine against live customer datasets.
- Build and iterate on customer solutions under tight deadlines.
- Feed field learnings back to product and engineering teams.
- Diagnose optimizer performance and quality issues and deliver solutions within performance targets.
- Build trusted relationships with customer teams while presenting trade-offs and results.
Requirements
- Demonstrable hands-on experience designing, building, and shipping production AI applications is required.
- Strong software engineering background, ideally with C# and .NET, and the ability to modify a large codebase.
- Hands-on experience with constraint programming, mathematical or linear programming, optimization techniques, or algorithm development.
- Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements, explain trade-offs, and present results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward shipping and iterating quickly under ambiguity.
- Ability to work with .NET 10, C#, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Background in workforce or resource scheduling.
- Experience with large-scale data modelling.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platforms or vertical-specific optimization products.
