Site & Commissioning Engineer (AutoStore)

Location: San Fernando de Henares (Madrid), Spain; regular travel to customer sites across the EMEA region.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global on site during installation and commissioning projects.
• Prepare and manage multiple installation sites, coordinate deliveries, track materials, and maintain safe working conditions.
• Coordinate subcontractors, lead progress reporting, and participate in customer and supplier meetings.
• Configure AutoStore components, controllers, and IT hardware, then perform component, system, performance, and acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions with service teams, support go-live activities, and complete customer handover.
• Train customer operators and service personnel and provide support during early operations.

Requirements

• Completed electrotechnical training, such as electrician, mechatronics technician, or industrial electrician.
• Solid experience in site or project management for automation systems and a record of successfully delivered projects.
• Experience in construction-like project environments.
• Strong communication, customer orientation, structured working style, and focus on quality.
• Ability to use AutoCAD, MS Office, and similar tools.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel across the EMEA region are required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of AutoStore, CAN bus, PLC, and safety regulations.
• Spanish, Portuguese, or French language skills.
