Industrial Automation Technician (Mechatronics)

Location: Middletown, Pennsylvania, United States. Onsite production role with a regular shift from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role may require a six-day workweek and travel to offsite locations, including German headquarters, for up to two or three weeks.

What you will do

• Support production performance, equipment management, and technical resources.
• Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automatic and semi-automatic equipment.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, PLC, and PC-based systems.
• Coordinate machine enhancements, qualification testing, documentation, and tooling purchases.
• Create mechanical tooling drawings in AutoCAD when required.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs, spare-parts systems, quality controls, and continuous-improvement activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience and willingness to work in a production environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards, mechanical assembly, and computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, operate a pallet jack with a 300-pound load, climb to 12-foot heights, and handle extended standing or sitting.
• Ability to work onsite in Middletown, Pennsylvania, and travel to offsite locations, including German headquarters, for up to two or three weeks.
• Regular, punctual attendance and willingness to work a six-day week when required.
