What you will do

• Lead and contribute to complex conceptual and detailed design, execution, development, and support activities across multiple projects.
• Prepare and present technical proposals for equipment, services, and systems.
• Lead project teams, resolve customer concerns, and support customer satisfaction.
• Manage deliverables against agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
• Mentor and develop professional staff and supervise team members as needed.
• Apply SEL values, operating principles, and World Class Manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant application experience with electric power systems or industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of electric power system protection and control, system integration, automation, communications, system design, studies, and protective relay applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise project teams, communicate effectively, and produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at least 25% of the time, depending on the focus area.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license or equivalent certification.
• Experience in electrical utilities, industrial plants, consulting engineering, or system integration.
• Project management experience and familiarity with Vision or similar project tracking software.
• Experience in automation, commissioning, design, networking, security, proposals, protection, or power system studies using PSSE, ETAP, or RTDS.
