Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Menominee, Michigan, United States; onsite weekend shift

Salary: $24.40–$31.70 per hour; weekend shift rate of $27.11 per hour plus a $1.00 premium

What you will do

• Maintain and repair facilities, production equipment, machines, utilities, and building systems.
• Install, fabricate, adjust, troubleshoot, dismantle, rebuild, level, fit, align, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and restore equipment to production operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, start-up and shutdown procedures, and safety-hazard correction.
• Use machine tools, hand tools, drawings, blueprints, manuals, specifications, and precision measuring instruments.
• Order maintenance parts, maintain tooling inventory, train assigned employees, and communicate equipment conditions across shifts.

Requirements

• Proficiency in advanced shop mathematics.
• Ability to work with complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, formulas, and precision measuring instruments.
• Training or knowledge of mechanical methods and procedures.
• Ability to plan and perform unusual or difficult work with limited direction.
• Ability to lift 25–35 pounds for 15–40% of the workday.
• Must be able to work onsite in Menominee, Michigan, on Friday–Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
