QA Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in Ireland, with 2 days onsite at the Dublin or Waterford office and 3 days remote

What you will do

• Analyse requirements and create manual and automated tests for web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify risks and build quality into the development process.
• Develop and maintain functional, regression, and end-to-end automated test suites.
• Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Test releases, investigate failures and defects, and provide clear bug reports.
• Improve test coverage, automation, and QA processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of software QA engineering experience testing web and mobile applications across multiple platforms and devices.
• Strong test automation experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with API and integration testing, including REST APIs, JSON, and authentication.
• Knowledge of functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience with Jira, Git, Xray, Postman, and at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with QA processes for embedded devices.
• Performance or load testing experience with JMeter or similar tools.
