Location: Parkmore Campus, Galway, County Galway, Ireland; hybrid working arrangement
Salary: €64,640–€96,960 per year, plus eligibility for the Incentive Plan (MIP).

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools for software verification.
- Lead the expansion of system-level test automation across software platforms and applications.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD automation for reliable, scalable, and efficient test execution.
- Define verification strategies with software engineering and quality teams to meet product and regulatory requirements.
- Set up, validate, maintain, and optimise test infrastructure and environments, including parallel and distributed execution.
- Mentor engineers and influence automation strategy, tooling selection, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science with 4+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience developing automated test solutions with tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and verification solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycle practices.
Nice to have
- Experience testing Android and iOS applications.
- Experience with system integration testing and risk-based verification.
- Knowledge of healthcare software, healthcare data, HIPAA, or data privacy requirements.
- Experience in medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools for software development, test automation, and troubleshooting.
