Maintenance Technician (Logistics)

Location: Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany; onsite role with flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across warehouses, offices, and logistics centers.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, system failures, and breakdowns, completing timely repairs.
• Inspect facilities and machinery to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Install, assemble, and disassemble equipment while following safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing work to minimize operational disruption.
• Maintain repair records and spare-parts inventory while coordinating maintenance schedules with other departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; HVAC, electrical, or mechanical vocational training is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, and use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving, attention-to-detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, work in varied environmental conditions, and work shifts including weekends and holidays.
