Business Analyst (Banking)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon; candidates must be living in Portugal

What you will do

• Handle functional solutions for financial interfaces supporting financial accounting, management accounting, liquidity, and credit-risk reporting.
• Define operational and accounting schemes, control frameworks, and data-flow structures for finance systems.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications for implementation by IT, engineering, and finance-system teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders and project activities to support timely delivery.
• Define chart-of-accounts changes and contribute to implementation testing strategies.
• Execute accounting and reporting tests and provide aftercare support to reporting users.

Requirements

• Experience in banking and knowledge of banking or capital-markets products.
• Knowledge of general or banking accounting; a minimum of 3 years is indicated.
• Knowledge of financial information systems and project-management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fluent English and residence in Portugal are required.
