Senior Business Analyst (Banking)

Location: Portugal, hybrid, with up to 2 remote days per week. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered.

What you will do

• Gather and analyze business requirements, creating functional specifications and user stories.
• Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation for stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to support clear implementation.
• Design test cases, maintain test documentation, and validate deliverables against requirements.
• Use SQL and database models for data analysis and validation.
• Contribute to technical architecture discussions and agile activities, including story mapping and sprint planning.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of requirements analysis, functional specifications, user stories, story mapping, and requirements documentation.
• Experience executing tests and writing functional and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of SQL queries and database modeling.
• Understanding of technical architecture and agile practices.
• English at C1 level and an existing legal right to work in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the banking industry.
• Knowledge of parametrization and configuration processes.
