What you will do

• Produce and support 2D CAD designs for civil engineering, water, wastewater, utility, and drainage infrastructure projects.
• Apply UK water industry and sewer sector standards relevant to drainage design.
• Support quality, environmental, and information management procedures aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 19650, and ISO 14001.
• Use or support 3D CAD, BIM, and Common Data Environment workflows where required.
• Build positive working relationships with design teams and internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote best practice, continuous improvement, and high standards within the team.

Requirements

• Demonstrable ability to use 2D CAD software, such as AutoCAD.
• Sound understanding of civil engineering design principles and terminology.
• Knowledge of UK water industry and sewer sector guidance relevant to drainage design.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to support procedures aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 19650, and ISO 14001.
• Full UK driving licence and access to personal transport required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or other CDE platforms.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D and understanding of CAD-to-BIM integration.
• Knowledge of CIWEM, CESWI, WIMES, CDM, HazOp, or ALM processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive, solution-focused approach.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping current with CAD and infrastructure standards.
