Program Manager VW (m/f/d) (Automotive Connectivity)

Location: Karlsbad, Baden-Württemberg, Germany; hybrid work with on-site presence required as needed and travel up to 25%

What you will do

• Lead complex Volkswagen Group automotive connectivity programs from acquisition and RFQ through development, launch, SOP, and post-SOP stabilization.
• Own timing, cost, quality, scope, performance, risks, customer commitments, and defined ConMod JDM workstreams.
• Manage change and scope governance, including change requests and internal and external Change Control Boards.
• Maintain the Project Master Plan, track milestones and deviations, and coordinate cross-functional teams, sub-teams, and suppliers.
• Manage sample and prototype planning, engineering hardware, benches, industrialization activities, and cross-site alignment.
• Act as the OEM customer interface and maintain management and customer reporting, Teamcenter governance, configuration discipline, and post-SOP follow-up.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, IT, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in program management, project leadership, or comparable automotive or technology program roles.
• At least 3 years of experience with Teamcenter and understanding of the full Teamcenter toolchain.
• Hands-on experience with sample management, engineering hardware, benches, or industrialization support.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken, are required.
• Structured coordination skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PMI methodologies, Automotive SPICE, or IATF 16949.
• Experience with Volkswagen Group programs or customers.
• Romanian language skills and familiarity with program management tools and reporting systems.
