TL;DR
Handover & Acceptance Auditor (Electrical) (Telecommunications): Auditing electrical and telecommunications site build works, upgrades, remedial works, and preventative maintenance for design, quality, statutory, and health and safety compliance with an accent on LV power systems, protection, control circuits, and active and passive network assets. Focus on inspecting completed installations, identifying defects and residual risks, and supporting safe acceptance across UK sites.
Location: Glasgow, with national travel across the UK required

What you will do
- Audit new installations, upgrades, and remedial build works against approved design specifications.
- Assess whether completed works meet contractual, legislative, quality, and health and safety requirements.
- Inspect telecommunications sites covering active and passive elements, including cell-site network assets.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance to support statutory compliance and manage reportable defects and hazards.
- Support planned maintenance inspections, remedial works, and project-based activities when required.
- Travel nationally to support regional teams and other activities within the relevant skill set.
Requirements
- Electrotechnical NVQ Level 3, C&G 5357 with AM2S, or equivalent.
- 18th Edition qualification, C&G 2382-18 or equivalent.
- Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing qualification, C&G 2391-52 or equivalent.
- JIB Gold Card as an Approved Electrician.
- At least 5 years of field experience and a strong understanding of LV power systems, protection, and control circuits.
- Experience in telecommunications, preferably across build, upgrade, or maintenance activities; proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
Nice to have
- Qualifications for climbing telecommunications sites, including advanced climbing, first aid at height, RF, and rooftop safety.
- Experience in a similar auditing role.
- Experience with active and passive network assets for greenfield, rooftop, street-works, and in-building solutions.
- Experience in an electrical quantity surveyor role.
