What you will do

• Perform routine electrical maintenance, inspection, and installation of street lighting and highway assets.
• Conduct non-routine maintenance, including complex fault finding and repairs.
• Execute electrical testing of private cable networks and individual electrical assets.
• Carry out electrical installations on both new and existing apparatus.
• Operate company vehicles and perform detailed risk assessments following company procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and use electronic devices for accurate data recording.

Requirements

• Level 2 and 3 certificates in Highway Electrical work or equivalent (e.g., C&G 236 part 1 and 2).
• NVQ Level 3 in Highway Electrical Work.
• Certifications in 714 Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection & Testing and 210 Working in the vicinity of DNO / iDNO equipment.
• BS7671:2018 Level 3 Award for Electrical Installations.
• First Aid at work, Manual Handling, and G39 certifications.
• Current full UK driving licence (up to 3.5t, ideally 7.5t or higher) and a current IPAF licence.
