What you will do
- Create and deliver commercially grounded talent plans aligned with business priorities.
- Strengthen leadership pipelines, succession planning, talent mobility, and future workforce capability from next-generation talent through the C-suite.
- Identify pivotal roles, critical capabilities, and future skills, then design plans to build, buy, or develop them.
- Coach senior leaders and support leadership development programmes, psychometric assessment debriefs, and high-potential talent initiatives.
- Use talent intelligence, workforce data, external benchmarks, and market insights to guide decisions on capability, performance, and potential.
- Partner with People, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Skills, Leadership, Coaching, Team Effectiveness, and Talent Acquisition teams.
Requirements
- Significant experience in talent management, talent development, succession planning, or leadership development within a large, complex organisation.
- Experience partnering with senior business leaders, HR Directors, and executive stakeholders on strategic talent solutions.
- Expertise in succession planning, talent density strategies, leadership pipelines, and global talent mobility programmes.
- Experience coaching senior leaders and conducting psychometric assessment debriefs.
- Strong analytical capability and experience interpreting talent data, workforce insights, and external benchmarks.
- Ability to work in the London hybrid arrangement, attending an office site at least two days per week or 40% of working time.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of executive assessment methodologies and high-potential talent identification programmes.
- Experience leading cross-functional talent initiatives involving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Skills, Leadership, and Talent Acquisition teams.
